2009, Album “Hymn to the Sun”

2009, Preparation of release of his album “Hymn to the Sun” of the Project “Aslan Gotov and friends”.

Album, which will include the ancient Circassian melodies processed in style “world-fusion”. In the recording of the album participates a large number of musicians.

The idea to record this album was born a few years ago: still working in the ensemble “Oshten” Aslan began experimenting with Circassian folk music. These were the arrangements of folk songs and melodies in the styles of jazz-rock and fusion. Later, while living and working in Moscow, they were created instrumental arrangements of folk melodies, which formed the basis for the album.

This is the first album “Hymn to the Sun” of the project “Aslan Gotov and friends”, which includes Circassian ancient melodies, treated in the style of “world-fusion”. In the recording of the album takes a large circle of musicians: Aslan Tlebzu (harmonica, accordion), Zalim Irugov (harmonica, accordion), Aslan Dudarov (harmonica), Anzor Uvizhev (folk wind instruments, clarinet), Valentin Manshin (wind folk instruments, clarinet, soprano saxophone), Roman Nasib (guitar), Murat Kashirgov (bass), Vladimir Nikonov (guitar), soloists of the ensemble “Islamey” Susanna Huako, Saniyat Agerzhanokova, Shamsudin Kumuk, Kazbek Shimirzov, Darina Meshlok, string and brass group of Adighe Symphony Orchestra.
